Individual therapy can be helpful to anyone feeling stuck or overwhelmed in life or struggling to manage mental health symptoms. I work with you to explore past patterns and experiences and create new ways of being in your current life setting. Sometimes people spend a couple months in therapy and some spend a year or two. We will identify together what your time will look like in therapy. Therapy is a collaborative process in which we will work together to create goals, explore your experiences, find healing, and decide when therapy has done what you needed it to do.
My specialties around religious harm, gender, sexuality, and neurodivergence have partly become so important to me because of the frequent invisibility and erasure of these experiences. In therapy with you, you will find space to be and become your whole self and explore how that might change how you show up in the world.
You can find me providing therapy at Transcend Psychotherapy in Minneapolis. Email me here to request a free consult to see if I might be a good fit for you and your therapy process.
I am a board approved supervisor trained in systemic therapy with experience in working with religious trauma, gender and sexual identities, and neurodivergence. As a systems therapist, I utilize both attachment and narrative lenses and love to bring them into my work with pre-licensed clinicians as they navigate their way through the process of engaging their best selves as therapists. In the supervisory role, I see myself as a collaborator walking alongside my supervisees as they explore who they are as therapists, learn more about how they want to show up in the world, and challenge the things holding them back. Supervisees can expect a safe space, expansiveness, and curiosity as they work toward licensure.
I provide consultation to other professionals looking to enhance their understanding of religious harm, gender, sexuality, and neurodivergence.

I provide a variety of training options around religious harm. I have previously provided training on the relational impact of religious harm, recovery from that impact, and understanding the impact of self of the therapist when working with religious harm. If you are interested in providing a training at your practice, please reach out to me. We can discuss what topic or area would be the most beneficial for you and your staff to expand your work with religious trauma survivors.
